Come to The Acreage Saturday, September 23rd for a talk and a walk focusing on edible mushrooms with local mushroom expert Tavis Lynch! Tavis will discuss the common edibles of fall and take a quick look at some poisonous mushrooms that occur locally. The short talk will be followed by a walk in the woods at The Acreage to put your new skills to the test. All mushrooms will be examined and identified before anyone takes them home. Dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear.
